The Argentine Society of Immunology (SAI) was born in 1972 at the initiative of several members of the Argentine Society of Clinical Research (SAIC) specialized in immunology. In 1984 legal status was achieved. The board is constituted by an Executive Committee that includes a president, a vice president, a secretary, a pro-secretary, a treasurer and a pro-treasurer; and eight councilors.
